Keeping Hope Alive: A Benefit To Help Evergreen Memorial Garden

BenefitFuckHeroin

Heroin is a highly addictive analgesic drug derived from morphine, often used illicitly as a narcotic producing euphoria.

An estimated 13.5 million people in the world take opioids, including 9.2 million who use heroin.

Opiates, mainly heroin, account for 18% of the admissions for drug and alcohol treatment in the US.

Rochester’s own Anthony Rocco Stagnitto is one of our angels who lost his life to Heroin.
Evergreen Memorial Garden at 107 Evergreen Street
Rochester, New York was the location of Anthony’s overdose and has become ground zero so to speak.

This benefit is to raise money for Evergreen Memorial Garden. The garden is a remembrance for all those we have lost to the pain of Opiate addictions. The garden is a symbol of hope here in Rochester.
Anthony’s father Rocco Stagnitto, has slowly been making progress building the garden, but, this takes plenty of time and money. WE NEED YOUR HELP.

Please join us for this benefit event to raise money for Evergreen Memorial Garden!

If anyone would like to play, speak, read poetry, paint, or anything under the sun, please contact Rochester Groovecast.
